The Iowa Central rugby team returns to Crimmins Field for a special mid-week match with the University of Northern Iowa here Wednesday evening.

The contest will begin at 6 p.m. 

After topping Iowa State to begin the year, top-ranked Iowa Central (2-0 overall) downed Marian, 29-21. Phoenix Twala and Jeremiah Bates each had two tries with Herbert Evans adding another. Aiden Farrell was 2-for-5 on conversion kicks in the match.

"We had a really good crowd that helped create a great atmosphere (vs. Marian)," Iowa Central head coach Brent Nelson said. "We'd love to have that same energy Wednesday night against UNI."

The Panthers are scheduled to have matches with Illinois State, Northwestern, Illinois-Chicago and Loyola this fall after playing the Tritons.
