The Iowa Central Men's Cross Country Team finished as Division I Men's Team Runners-up at the Region 11 Championship meet in Creston Friday October 27.
The Triton men finished just three points behind Iowa Western with 40 total team points.
Housem Hrabi led the way for Iowa Central, finishing in fourth place with a time of 25:25.10. Jadon Boots finished seventh with a time of 26:23.17 and Jed Elmbarki finished in eighth place, running 26:28.92. Joseph Asahi Wright rounded out the Tritons in the top-15 running 26:37.88 for 11th place.
Hrabi and Boots received ICCAC First Team All-Conference recognition at the meet and Elmbarki, Hazma Mohamed and Asahi Wright were each named Second-Team All-Conference.
Regional honors went to Hrabi, who was named First Team- All Region. Boots, Elmbarki and Mohamed each received Second-Team honors and Asahi Wright received All-Region Honorable Mention.
