Tina Samson took on the Blue Oval at the Drake Relays this past week -- participating in two events.

First, in the Heptathlon where Samson took home a personal best with 4962 points giving her a tie for sixth.

She was the only NJCAA participant in the Heptathlon and one of two freshmen to compete.

Samson was also part of the 4x400 Meter Relay team that ran a 4:01.9.

The reigning ICCAC Pentathlon champion will look to sweep the multi-event event at the 2024 Outdoor Regional in Council Bluffs this weekend.
