The Tritons traveled to Iowa Falls to take on the Ellsworth Panthers Wednesday night. The Tritons entered with a 3-0 ICCAC record. Ellsworth started the match fired up and got off to a 6-4 lead. The Tritons used a 8 point run by Sydney Oliver to come storming back, taking set 1 25-12. The Tritons continued to be low error, forcing Ellsworth to work hard to earn their points. Iowa Central won set 2 25-13 and set 3 25-20.
Kayla Faldet led a balanced offense with 9 kills while hitting .471. Hannah Murray and Libby Zorn chipped in 8 kills. Abby Lohrmann delivered the offense with 32 assists and Kryssie Okinaka and Taylor Beinemann had 20 and 13 digs, respectively.
The Tritons are now 14-5 and 4-0 in ICCAC play. Next up is Neosho and #2 Cowley at the KCKCC Tournament on Friday.
