ESTHERVILLE - The sixth-ranked Iowa Central baseball team needed all of the offensive support they could get here Monday afternoon.

The Tritons prevailed in a thrilling 16-11 victory over Iowa Lakes.

Brock Johnson hit a home run and had three RBI, Max Holy drove in four and Jalen Martinez had three RBI.

Johnson also scored two runs, Martinez scored a run with two hits and Holy had a double, three walks and stole a base.

On the mound, Andrew Boeser picked up the win, striking out five over six innings.

Iowa Central has started April off by winning five of seven overall. They remain on the road, heading to Norfolk, Nebraska on Tuesday for a doubleheader with No. 12 Northeast beginning at 1 p.m.
