Will Smoot and Iowa Central are looking to get back in the winning mindset after dropping two of their games last week. 

Smoot gave it his all on the offensive side of things, he posted a .450 (9-20) batting average last week. 

Smoot knocked in 10 RBI and socred six runs himself for the Triton offense. 

Smoot's eighth inning go-ahead home run against #9 Kirkwood was the difference maker in a 17-11 win. 

Smoot and Iowa Central will take on #1 (D1) Iowa Western at home this week along with Iowa Lakes before going on the road to Indian Hills.
