Tritons Fall to DMACC

Boone- The Iowa Central Baseball team couldn't stop DMACC here Tuesday afternoon.

The Tritons took an early lead, scoring five runs in the first, but the Bears quickly doubled the score in the second, scoring 10 runs.

Three runs in the fourth, including a home run by Harrison Bowman, brought the Tritons within two, narrowing the Bears' lead to 10-8. 

Home runs from Jake Busson and Peter Johnson in the fifth, along with an RBI from Will Smoot made the score 12-14, before ultimately falling 22-12 in seven innings.

The Tritons were led offensively by Harrison Bowman and Jake Busson with three RBI and one home run each.

Iowa Central returns to action on their home field Wednesday for a single game ICCAC matchup with Northeast of Norfolk, NE at Harlan Rogers.
