DODGE CITY, Kan. - The Iowa Central football team returns to the road for a fourth time in five weeks here Saturday, taking on Dodge City.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from inside Memorial Stadium.

The Tritons (3-4 overall) finally returned home to Dodger Stadium this past Saturday, but were unable to pull an upset, falling to No. 10 Garden City, 43-27.

Iowa Central had played three consecutive weeks on the road prior to the game, traveling to College of DuPage, No. 13 Snow and 14th-ranked Highland.

Arthur Brantley helped the Tritons get out to an early advantage vs. the Broncbusters, throwing four first half touchdown passes. Brantley finished 12 of 18 for 213 yards and four scores, adding 53 yards on the ground before coming out with an injury.

Brantley has 483 yards passing, 300 yards running and eight total scores on the year.

DJ Irons, who Brantley stepped in for after one play, came back on late. Irons was injured at Snow. He has completed almost 60 percent of his passes for 852 yards and eight touchdowns, adding 192 yards and three scores on the ground.

Kurt Taylor ran for 72 yards, giving him a team-high 624 yards on the season, while Rashad Witty and Tanarious Achan hauled in two TDs each.

Achan has 34 receptions, which places him seventh in the nation, for 494 yards, with Witty averaging 115 all-purpose yards per game.

The Conquistadors (0-6) are coming off a 14-3 loss to Coffeyville and have also fallen to Iowa Western, No. 9 Butler, Ellsworth, Garden City and 17th-ranked Independence.

On the season, Dodge City is averaging just 13 points and 220 yards per game, allowing 31 and 346. Jase Orndorff has thrown for 769 yards and five touchdowns,

GregDarius James has a team-high 223 yards on the ground and Daquan Bailey-Brown is the leading receiver with 21 catches for 351 yards and three scores.

Last year, Iowa Central posted a 58-7 victory over the Conquistadors, jumping out to a 37-7 lead at halftime. Justin Blake had 533 yards of total offense and scored seven touchdowns in the game.

Dodge City has played in six bowl games all-time as a school, with the last coming in 2015. They played Ellsworth in 1992 in Cedar Falls, falling 24-7.
