DODGE CITY, Kan. - The Iowa Central football team moved back to .500 with a win here Saturday over Dodge City, 39-21. 

The victory snapped a three-game losing skid for the Tritons, who are now 4-4 ahead of a meeting this coming Saturday at Ellsworth for the ICCAC title. 

Iowa Central jumped out to an 18-0 lead at the half before Dodge City scored 21 points in the fourth. Demarcus Irons returned, completing 9 of 15 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns, including an 85-yard pass. 

Tanarious Achan had three catches for 97 yards and two scores, with Terrell Carey cathing three passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns. Jason Young finished with 79 yards receiving and Chance Gibbons had 26 yards passing, a touchdown and ran for 47 yards. 

Christian Ford returned a kickoff back for a touchdown, with Jarran Barber and Elijah Freking each picking off passes. Malik Adams had a team-high 10 tackles, Nathan Proctor had two sacks and both Daquan Cross and Freking recorded eight tackles. 

Freking, Kalen Burt, Tristin Waugh and Marquis Burks all had a sack each. 

Kickoff in Iowa Falls is scheduled for 1 p.m. between the Tritons and Panthers.
