Wide receiver George Sims doubles as a returner for the Tritons, and last week against Highland, Sims recorded his best game all around. As a returner, Sims had two chances and busted one for a season-long 63 yards. His other went for 28, to average 45.5 yards per return. As a receiver he had a solid day as well. Sims caught four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. He has 323 yards receiving on 26 grabs and five touchdowns this season. Iowa Central will await their matchup in the 2022 Game One Bowl on Dec. 4, as their regular season came to a close last weekend.
