Iowa Central opened up with a 28-15 win on the road against Independence last weekend. The Tritons, who led the nation in scoring in 2023, clicked in the passing game thanks to sophomore Justin Silverstein. He connected on completions for 253 yards and four touchdowns. Twice he found his favorite target on the day, Mario Sanders, for scores. Silverstein also picked up 30 yards on the ground. A nice start to the season for Iowa Central, who faces No. 5 Garden City this week.
