Triton Marching Band ready to bring the noise

Once again this fall, Dodger Stadium will be rocking from the sounds of the Iowa Central Marching Band under the direction of Jeremy Smith.

The Tritons will be performing before kickoff, during the games and at halftime this fall along with the Iowa Central Dance Team, Triton Cheer and various other Iowa Central athletic teams helping to display the 1,800 square foot American flag.

Show themes for the first two home games will be "Modern Pop Radio," Dynamite by BTS, Levitating by Dua Lipa (featuring the Iowa Central Dance Team) and Bang by AJR are on the playlist.

Before they hit the stands for football games, though, the team will be involved in several other events around the area including the Southeast Valley Homecoming parade on September 10. They will also play at an exhibition on September 25 at the North Central Iowa Band Invitational and are set to be part of the Fort Dodge Senior High Homecoming parade on October 1 with the annual run out day also set for October.

To close out that month, Iowa Central will head to Council Bluffs for the football contest with the Reivers on October 30.

Student leadership this fall will be led by Drum Majors Jacob Adams of Algona and Lyn Nguyen from Eagle Grove.
