COUNCIL BLUFFS - The Iowa Central men were right there through 20 minutes with Iowa Western here Tuesday night.

But a tough second half kept the Tritons from completing a season sweep of the Reivers as they fell 85-54.

PJ Ngambi scored 19 points and Javonte Keck added 11 for Iowa Central (4-6 overall, 4-6 in ICCAC), which trailed 39-32 at the break.

Keck also had five rebounds with Ayris Abdelnassar adding five rebounds as well. Cham Deng scored seven points, Uzo Dibiamaka and Jayden Stephens each had five, and Jaxon Smith four.

For Iowa Western (5-5, 5-5), Dhashon Dyson scored 16, Elijah Bishop 13, Dewayne Vass 12 and Roland McCoy 11.

Iowa Central earned a 95-91 victory over the Reivers back in January.

The Tritons head to No. 19 Kirkwood (5-5, 5-5) on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tip.
