Iowa Central comes up short on road

WEST BURLINGTON - The Iowa Central men were denied a road victory here Saturday, falling to Southeastern, 76-65.

PJ Ngambi scored 25 points, adding three steals and two assists, to lead the way for the Tritons (4-9 overall, 4-9 in ICCAC). The freshman shot 50 percent from the field, 75 percent from the 3-point line and 80 percent at the free throw stripe in the game.

Javonte Keck added 15 points, seven rebounds and two steals with Uzo Dibiamaka chipping in 10 points, four blocks, three boards and a pair of assists.

Iowa Central trailed by four at the break to Southeastern (10-5, 10-5). They finished the game shooting 41 percent from the floor with eight made 3-pointers. 

Kennedy Milton and Jesiah West led Southeastern with 14 points each. 

Next action for the Tritons will be on Wednesday when they host Ellsworth inside Hodges Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.
