Tritons fall at No. 9 Iowa Lakes

ESTHERVILLE - The Iowa Central men were unable to keep up with ninth-ranked Iowa Lakes here Wednesday night, falling 103-71.

Javonte Keck had 24 points with nine rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist to lead the Tritons (6-12 overall, 6-12 in ICCAC) while both PJ Ngambi and Jordan Majeed scored 12.

The Lakers (13-6, 13-6) raced out to a 47-39 lead and outscored Iowa Central 56-32 over the final 20 minutes to complete the season sweep. Xzavier Jones led the way with a double-double, scoring 20 points with 11 rebounds.

Cameron Tolefree, who went down with a serious injury during the game played in Fort Dodge earlier this month, saw action on the court for Iowa Lakes.

Uzo Dibiamaka added eight points, Ayris Abdelnassar had seven and Mahad Faisal chipped in six for the Tritons, who knocked down 10 three-pointers.

Iowa Central returns to action on Saturday, hosting Southeastern at 7 p.m. inside Hodges Fieldhouse.
