WEST BURLINGTON - The Iowa Central men were topped by Southeastern here Wednesday night, 68-58.

Jaxon Smith had 15 points with Kevin Taylor adding 11 and seven rebounds for the Tritons (1-1 overall). Bo Barber, Josh Baker and Jordan Majeed all had eight each.

For Southeastern, Davion Bailey scored 19 points with Jesiah West adding 16 and 15 rebounds. 

Iowa Central trailed 34-28 at halftime and had trouble overcoming a 33-percent night from the field shooting. They were also just 12-for-40 from the 3-point line and were out-rebounded, 43-28. 

Majeed also had five assists and four rebounds, Baker had five rebounds and three assists for the Tritons, who return home on Saturday to face Rochester Tech at 3 p.m. inside Hodges Fieldhouse.
