Iowa Central falls on the road, 56-55

MARSHALLTOWN - The Iowa Central men saw a lead slip through their fingers here Tuesday night, falling to Marshalltown, 56-55.

The Tigers scored the final 12 points of the game, including the winning points on two David Roberts free throws with 3.3 seconds left.

Javonte Keck scored 18 to lead the Tritons (5-4 overall), with Josh Baker adding 11. Kael Stulo scored eight, Kevin Taylor seven, Bo Barber six and Jordan Majeed five.

Marshalltown was led by Roberts' 26 points. He attempted all of their free throws, going 9-for-10. Iowa Central was just 3 of 4 at the line, but did make 12 three-pointers.

These two teams will meet again on Sunday when the Tigers visit Hodges Fieldhouse.
