Triton Men Come up Short in Columbus

Iowa Central men fall 69-80 against Central

Despite shooting 100 percent from the line, the Iowa Central men still came up short in a road game against Central of Columbus, Neb. Saturday.

The Tritons, (1-8 overall, 0-2 in ICCAC) were outscored by single digits in both halves, unable to make up the 11-point deficit, suffering an eighth consecutive loss, 69-80, to the Raiders (10-4 overall, 1-0 ICCAC).

Deuce Blake led the way for the Tritons with 18 points while Miles Fant added 12. Mekhi Wilson and Chase Low each finished with 11 points and 3 rebounds and Jordan Fenderson added 10 points and four rebounds from the bench.

The Tritons face a tough contest on Wednesday as they host No. 4 Des Moines Area in an ICCAC matchup at 7:30 p.m. in Hodges Fieldhouse.
