ICCAC Athlete of the Week Honors for Cain

Jordan Cain – Iowa Central – Freshman – Guard

Jordan Cain, the Iowa Central freshman, makes his first appearance on the Athlete of the Week list. Cain and the Tritons took on #4 Kirkwood and #11 Ellsworth this past week. In the opening contest of the week, Cain and Iowa Central got a big win over #4 Kirkwood. Cain scored 25 points, grabbed five rebounds and had four steals in the 83-62 win. The second game for Iowa Central was against #11 Ellsworth. Iowa Central lost 84-74 but Cain scored 19 points on 6-10 from the field. Cain added eight rebounds and two assists in the loss. This season Cain is averaging 14.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
