Tritons conclude 2021 at Warhawk Open

ADDISON, Ill. - The Iowa Central bowling team finished up the 2021 portion of their schedule here this past weekend at the MOTIV Warhawk Open at the Stardust Bowl.

On the women's side, the Tritons finished 18th overall out of 23 schools. Mount Mercy was first with a total of 8,482 followed by St. Francis and Wisconsin-Whitewater. With a team total of 7,459, the Tritons were the top two-year program in attendance.

Iowa Central was 21st in the men's standings with 7,865. They were the top two-year program as St. Ambrose finished first followed by Huntington and Mount Mercy. 

Abby Price was the leading finisher for the Triton women, coming home in 95th with a total score of 875. She had games of 194 and 190 during the event. Cassie Lee placed 113th, Olivia Nolte was 120th and Victoria Potter 124th. 

Dale Weaver placed 94th overall with a total of 1,022 including a 191 high-game score. Justin Graves was 153rd and Jacob Kraft 154th. 

"The weekend was a struggle for both the men and women," Iowa Central head coach Gregg Haden said. "Our execution was not where it should be. As long as we continue to practice well and trust the process, we will be ready for the postseason in March."
