Gregg Haden enters his 12th year as head coach of the bowling program and 15th overall as a coach at Iowa Central.

Under Haden, the Triton bowling program has captured four national titles, with the men claiming gold in 2017 and 2019, and the women going back-to-back in 2020 and 2021. 

The Iowa Central men's bowling program has also finished second four different times with Haden at the controls, placed third three more times and finished fourth Twice at nationals. They were named academic All-America in 2015-16 and have qualified for the USBC Collegiate Sectionals eleven consecutive years with a top finish of fifth in 2019.

On the women's side, Iowa Central has placed second twice, third three times and fourth three times and a ninth-place finish at nationals to go along with the two titles. They were also named academic All-America in 2018-19 and 2020-2021 and have qualified for the USBC Collegiate Sectionals nine of the last eleven years.

The USBC ranks every collegiate bowling program regardless of size each year. The top 80 Men’s and top 64 Women’s programs get invited to compete in a season-ending national tournament.

Haden serves as President of the NJCAA Bowling Coaches Association and sits on a council within the USBC Collegiate.
