The Iowa Central rugby team used a late conversion by Rhys Smith to advance to the DIAA Fall semifinals Saturday, downing Virginia Tech, 15-12.

The Tritons gained a 13-12 lead on a Tony Robinson conversion following a sub that paid off. 

Iowa Central will meet Bowling Green in the semifinals on Sunday after they scored a 29-21 victory over Kennesaw State. The match will take place from the ECU North Recreation Complex in Greenville, North Carolina. 

Bowling Green is the defending division national champions.
