Iowa Central comes up short vs. Indian Hills

The Iowa Central men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision here Saturday afternoon to Indian Hills at Rogers Park.

Lucas Hazi Pollacchi had the lone score for the Tritons, knocking in a long-distance kick in the second half. Following a boot by the keeper for the Indians, Pollacchi took a pass and launched the ball just over the outstretched arms of the keeper.

Pollacchi knocked it in from nearly 40 yards out for his first goal of his career with Iowa Central.

Indian Hills took advantage of three first half goals to gain control of the contest to improve to 3-3-2 overall and in the conference this season.

Aaron Quezada did record six saves in net for the Tritons.

Iowa Central suffered its third consecutive loss, falling to 2-5 overall and in the ICCAC. The Tritons return to action Tuesday in Council Bluffs vs. second-ranked Iowa Western. The Reivers downed Iowa Central last week, 5-0.
