The Iowa Central men's soccer team was topped by Iowa Western here Wednesday at Rogers Sports Complex, 8-0.
The second-ranked Reivers gained an early advantage and never looked back, improving to 8-0 on the year. Iowa Western is also off to a 3-0 start in the ICCAC Div. I.
With the loss, the Tritons fell to 5-4-1 and 0-3 in the league. Since winning four in a row and going unbeaten over five matches, Iowa Central has dropped three straight to ranked opponents.
Next up for the Tritons will be Indian Hills (5-5-2, 0-2-1) on Saturday in Ottumwa. The Warriors lost 2-0 to Iowa Western this past weekend.
