COUNCIL BLUFFS - With their portion of the Region XI Tournament already set, the Iowa Central men's soccer team began preparation for Sunday's opening round.
The Tritons finished off the regular season here Tuesday, falling 12-0 to second-ranked Iowa Western.
Iowa Central will open regional play this weekend at Rogers Sports Complex against Indian Hills. The winner advances to face Iowa Western in the semifinals on Wednesday, October 27.
During the regular season, the Tritons and Warriors each earned a win over the other. Iowa Central claimed a 3-1 victory on the road and Indian Hills returned the favor with a 2-1 victory earlier this week.
