Freshman Franco Barba Vinoles has been stellar in goal for the Tritons in the last two matches. In 180 minutes of play Vinoles has managed to keep two clean sheets and made 22 saves. Against Marshalltown Vinoles made 12 saves to help his team hold on for the 1-0 win, putting up the first win for the Tritons this year. The following game against Hawkeye Vinoles put on another show with 10 saves in a 0-0 draw between the two teams. In six games Vinoles has kept three clean sheets this year, two of them from the most recent games. The Tritons are 1-1-4 this season and will look for Vinoles to remain solid between the sticks in their next match against #4 Iowa Lakes.
