Mens soccer defeated Scott on Sophmore day 16-0

The Iowa Central Men's Soccer Team was unstoppable Saturday as they defeated Eagles of Scott Community College 16-0 on Sophomore Day at Harlan Rogers Sports Complex.

Leading scorers for the Tritons were sophomores Matias Vila Narabays and Bienvenue Munezero each with three goals. Sophomores Abraham Ruiz and Mario Saldana each scored two. Sophomores Caden Ruff, Samuel Castro Orozco, Favour Justice Ndubisi and Rigue Ngenda and freshmen Genaro Dumestre Bertoletti and Alexi Brooks each added one goal for Iowa Central.

The Triton goal was defended by Alejandro Camacho Sanchez and Aurelien Kunangika who allowed no goals by the Eagles

The win over Scott brings the Tritons overall record to 2-3-5. The Tritons travel to Norfolk, Nebraska on Wednesday October 18 where they will face No. 1 ranked Northeast in the regular season finale.
