Buenano Leads Men's Soccer Postseason ICCAC Conference Honors
After showcasing some of the nation's top teams and talent this season, the 2024 ICCAC Men's Soccer All-Region selections were released this week.
For the Tritons, Edgar Salazar Buenano was named First Team All-Region. Bueanano suffered an ACL injury during his freshman season and returned to have an outstanding sophomore campaign. He played in 12 games for the Tritons and scored 7 goals.
A Second Team All-Region selection went to Erick Rodriguez and Honorable Mention All-Region selections for the Tritons were Genaro Dumestre Bertoletti and Fernando Reyes. Reyes led the Tritons in assists with six.
The Tritons finished their 2024 season with a 4-11-2 record with three of their losses to the #1, #2, and #18 teams in the country. They secured the #5 seed in the Region 11 Tournament and fell to #18 Southeastern in tournament play.
