PLANO, Tex. - The Iowa Central men's tennis team will conclude play on Thursday here at the NJCAA Div. I Championships.

Nico Zumba will play for the consolation championship at the No. 4 singles position after posting an 8-1 victory over Lawson Pearson of Copiah-Lincoln. Zumba will face Jacambrian Madlock from Itawamba on Friday morning for third place.

At No. 1 doubles, Zumba and Juan Gomez dropped an 8-5 decision to Wesley Fontaine and Seth Macute from Mississippi Gulf Coast in the consolation semifinals.

In the team standings, the Tritons are 10th with 17.5 points.
