CEDAR RAPIDS - The Iowa Central men's tennis team scored a 6-3 victory over Coe College in the first meet under new head coach Ev Cochrane here Saturday.

Arthur Praud, Nolan Laduree, Theo Devals and Eduardo Valenca were all winners in singles, with the doubles teams of Merlin Bolema and Laduree, and Praud and Devals, also picking up victories over Coe, the defending American Rivers Conference champions.

Praud, Devals and Valenca were all straight-set winners, while Laduree earned a three-set win. 

Souleymane Ouattara and Bolema dropped singles matches as the No. 1 and No. 2 positions for Iowa Central.
