Pearlstone Hired As Head Tennis Coach

Fort Dodge – Iowa Central Community College is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Isaac Pearlstone as new head coach of the Triton Men's and Women's Tennis program.

Dr. Pearlstone brings 12 years of coaching experience to Iowa Central. He joins the Triton staff after stints as an assistant coach at Saint Louis University (2022-2023) and Saint Louis' Parkway North High School (2015-2021, 2023).

A native of Saint Louis, Pearlstone earned a Bachelor of Science degree in history and Master of Arts in elementary education from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. He holds a Doctor of Educational Leadership degree from Maryville University in Saint Louis.

During his time at Saint Louis University, Pearlstone helped lead the team to its best win percentage in program history and first-ever Top-100 ranking. While at Parkway North, Pearlstone coached the women's doubles team to its first ever Missouri state championship. During his prep career, Pearlstone was the No. 1 ranked player at Parkway North High School and was a Missouri state quarterfinalist in men's doubles. He is founder and CEO of Pearlstone Tennis, a company providing tennis instruction to a range of athletes through video review and educational pedagogy.

Pearlstone is a 4.5 level United States Tennis Association (USTA) player with a 52-18 USTA career record. He has also won leagues in World Team and Gladiator Tennis.

In addition to coaching, Pearlstone brings knowledge and experience in recruiting, team budgeting and travel, camps, compliance, marketing, and educational curriculum.

Coach Pearlstone has a special interest in Ultimate Frisbee and has served as a coach, as vice president of Truman State Ultimate Frisbee and as director of the Missouri Girls and Boys State High School Tournament.

As one of the premier junior colleges in the nation fielding athletic teams in over 30 sports with more than 75 national championships, Pearlstone stated that he is excited to arrive on campus and build a program and supportive culture for Iowa Central student-athletes. He will begin his duties on May 15.
