Kenneth Michaud came to Iowa Central Community College in August 2023, where he beings his first season as the assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. Coach Michaud was the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, for three seasons. During his time at Juniata, his last year he led the men’s team to 12 victories, which was the most since the 2015-16 season. Coach Michaud also has coached one Landmark all-conference first-team selection, 14 ITA academic award winners, and 16 men ITA academic award winners. He has also coached a combined 33 Landmark Academic Honor Roll honorees.

Coach Michaud served as vice chair and chair of the Landmark Conference men's and women's tennis coaching groups during his time at Juniata. He also served on the NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Regional Advisory Committee and was the on-site representative at Johns Hopkins for the regional round of the NCAA Tournament.

Coach Michaud spent the past three years coaching boys’ tennis at Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. At Rancho, Michaud posted at 33-17 overall record and won the league for the first time in 17 seasons and was named Class 4A league Coach of the Year. Michaud was also a finalist for the Las Vegas Sun Standout Awards for Coach of the Year.

He was a head coach of both the men's and the women's programs at Jacksonville College in Jacksonville, Texas. While there, both programs were ranked in 25th in the NJCAA. He had two women's players that were ranked in the top 50 in the nation and one women's doubles team that was ranked 33rd in the nation.

Michaud was the assistant women’s tennis coach at Mesa Community College. That season, the team finished with a season record of 16-0. The team was NJCAA Region One champion and finished 10th at the NJCAA Division I national championships. 

Michaud played tennis at Reedley Community College before transferring to Graceland University (Iowa) and finishing out his career. While at Graceland, the team was ranked nationally in the NAIA. They were ranked in the top-25 both seasons and his junior year they won the Heart of America conference tournament and advanced to the NAIA national tournament.

Coach Michaud received his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Graceland University with a minor in psychology. He completed his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership in December 2022 at Juniata College.
