The Iowa Central track program scored a gold and silver at the Region XI Indoor Championships in the team standings recently.

The men, who earned their 16th consecutive regional title, and women, who were second after claiming 15 championships in a row, also racked up plenty of all-region honors. 

To be named all-region, a Top-3 finish was needed.

Iowa Central head coach Jordan Burkholder was named the ICCAC Men's Coach of the Year for the second straight year. 

Earning all-region honors for the Triton men were Lee Eppie (400), Robin Aguilar Gonzalez (1000), Kelvin Bungei (mile), Jaheem Hayles (60 hurdles), Dashinelle Dyer (60 hurdles), 4x400 relay (Jerome Jessup, Hayles, Hayden Cobbs, Eppie), distance medley relay (Darius Brown, Isaac Davis, Adam Gruhn, Hunter Klimek), David Bosquez Gonzalez (high jump), Aries Scott (high jump, long jump, pole vault), Nicola Paletti (high jump, pole vault), Tristen Hanna (triple jump), Eliot Cummings (triple jump), Enoch Antwi (triple jump), James MacKey Jr. (shot put) and Jarod Henderson (weight throw). 

Iowa Central women scoring all-region honors were Odell Frye (60, 200), Lilia Alvarez (1000), Chloe Lenoir (mile), the distance medley relay (Lenoir, Nadehsa Wallace, Kirstyn Beaman, Josie Stackis), Madison Johnson (high jump) and Victoria Adu (weight throw, shot put).
