Tritons secure over 30 All-American honors

Over 20 Iowa Central track and field athletes were honored as NJCAA Outdoor All-Americans by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

To earn the honor, a Top-8 finish at nationals was needed. 

The Tritons had 19 All-American honors on the women's side, which ranked third-most, and 17 on the men's side, which was tied for third-most.

Hannah Connell, Rosalie Fish and Odell Frye picked up three All-American honors, Lilia Alvarez and Ashley Micheaux two, and Victoria Adu, Patience Heath, Shaunti Longfellow, Tamara Roby, Josie Stackis and Kiya Wulf one.

Kelvin Bungei picked up All-American status in the 1,500, 5,000, Steeplechase and as part of the 4x800 relay. Robin Aguilar Gonzalez and Eliot Cummings were each named twice while David Bosquez Grimaldo, Darius Brown, Cassius Havis, Jerome Jessup, James MacKey Jr., Nicola Paletti, William Richardson and Aries Scott scored honors.
