Freshman sprinter Bongumusa Nkosi had a very successful meet in Texas last week.

The freshman ran a 20.90 in the 200 Meter and a 47.64 in the 400 Meter, both earning first place at the meet.

Additionally, both were personal bests for Nkosi.

He is currently first in the nation in each, albeit very early in the season.

As for the Iowa Central record books, Nkosi is seventh in the 400 Meter and eighth in the 200 Meter.

Keep an eye to see if he can jump into the top five and beyond this spring!
