Aubry Weyerstrass is in her second year as an assistant coach with the Tritons. Her primary responsibility is working with the vaulters. She comes to Iowa Central after spending a semester working with pole vaulters at her alma mater McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA.

During her time at McNeese State the Cowgirls won two Southland Conference Championships. She was a conference placer in the pole vault three times, outdoors 2023 (6^th), indoors 2003 (7^th) and outdoors 2022 (8^th). She set her personal record of 11-3.75” in 2023 at the Southland Conference Championships.

She started her coaching career in 2018 at Lanier’s Gymnastics in Gulfport, MS. In addition to her work this fall at McNeese State, she has also worked with pole vaulters at her high school, Biloxi High.

Weyerstrass graduated from McNeese State in December of 2023 with a bachelors in Pre-Physical Therapy and a minor in Sports Medicine. She also serves as a housing coordinator on campus.
