The Iowa Central men's cross country team had runners finish first, second and third in claiming the overall title at the Mustang Gallop hosted by Mount Mercy on Friday.

The Tritons had 28 team points with the host Mustangs finishing second at 62. Cornell College was third, Hawkeye fourth and Clarke fifth.

Awet Yohannes was the individual champion in 15:52.4 with Pur Biel placing second (16:00.4) and Eldad Mulugeta third (16:04.4).

Milos Pendic finished in 10th and Noah Bundrock placed 14th for Iowa Central.
