On the same day that they found out they are ranked first and third in the nation, the Iowa Central cross country program gave back to the Fort Dodge community.

The NJCAA released the first set of rankings for the fall cross country season, as the Triton women are No. 1 and the men are No. 3, according to USTFCCCA. 

Iowa Central took a short trip over to Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge for the annual Purple Walk for Alzheimer's, giving back to the community that supports them. 

The Tritons head to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Woody Greeno Invitational on Saturday.
