The Iowa Central cross country program is sponsoring Saturday's Webster City Firecracker 3K to be held at Brewer Creek Trailhead on Des Moines St. in Webster City.

The event is a fundraiser for the Triton program, with an entry fee of $15 for ages 18-and-over and $10 for ages 17-and-under. 

To comply with state social distancing guidelines, the event will be contested in waves of ten people, starting every 15 minutes.  

Race day registration will not be permitted. 

There will also be a Virtual 3K for those who would like to support the cross country program and who would like to race against time.  The competition window is open from now until 11:00 am Central on Saturday.
