Sophomore Aspel Kiprob is back this season and posted a winning performance at the All-American Invitation hosted by Luther College last weekend. In sloppy, raining conditions, Kiprob ran a 20:55 four mile race – and pulled away to win by over 30 seconds against the field. He did that despite the track having been run on five times before it was his turn. Iowa Central finished third (out of 8) at the meet. Iowa Central will be at the Greeno/Dirksen Cross Country Invite in Lincoln, Neb. this Saturday.
