Iowa Central's Aspel Kiprob ran his season race of the season in one of the more talented fields he will see all season. Kiprob ran in the McDonald Memorial 8k at the Chile Pepper XC Festival in Fayetteville Ark. against some of the top junior college runners and some NCAA Division I's. Kiprob finished in 16th out of 357 with a time of 24:17. As it's only his second race of the season, he is showing progress, pushing within less than 30 seconds of his PR. Kiprob finished third among the NJCAA runners at the event.
