Men's Cross Country are Meet Champions at Seminole Valley

Mens Cross Country wins Seminole Valley meet

The Iowa Central Triton Mens and Womens Cross Country Teams competed at the Seminole Valley Stampede in Cedar Rapids on Saturday October 21.

In team standings, The Tritons were the men's champions with a total of 31 points.

Housem Hrabi was the men's individual champion, coming in first with a time of 24:45.10. Sophomore Jadon Boots finished fourth, running 25:48.40 followed by fellow Triton Jed Embarki in fifth at 25:57.70.

Joseph Asahi Wright finished 12 for the Tritons in 26:25.70, followed closely by teammate Hamza Mohamed in 13th at 26:28.60. Seth Cheny finished in 35th with a time of 28:06.40, Alex Wilford 40th at 28:24.70, Ben Reyes in 46th with a time of 28:47.10, Gavin Stalzer finished 50th in 29:19.20, AJ Burke 68th with 30:48.20 and Kaden Golder finished 72nd with a time of 31:22.40.

 For the Triton Women, Maurine Limo, Natalie Bogdanova Kirilova, Morgan Bodholdt and Raylene Williams competed.

Limo finished in 16th place overall with a time of 20:36.10, Bogdanova Kirilova finished 32nd in 21:35.80, Bodlholdt finished 55th with a time of 23:58.40 and Williams finished 58th overall in 24:37.50.

The Tritons will travel to Creston to compete in the Region 11 championships on Friday October 27.
