Emma Chapin took to the range last week and led all women scorers -- boasting a 99 of 100 -- also tying a weekly best among all shooters. It was Chapin's third time being in the Triton's trap top 5. Last year at the ICCAC Championships she shot an 88 -- second-best for Iowa Central -- then in a quad with Northwest Iowa, Iowa Western and Southwestern, she fired a 92 -- third-best that day for Iowa Central. The Tritons are set up to take on Ellsworth this coming Saturday -- which should provide good conditions again for shooters.
