Despite wet and muddy conditions, the Iowa Central Rodeo Team hosted their home event, the Triton Stampede, September 22-23.
The Triton Men finished third overall in the standings and the Triton Women finished in fifth place.
Event champions for Iowa Central included Drew Lind, bareback; Cody Owens, bareback; and Sage Vance, bull riding.
Wyatt Dambrote and Cash Owens were each reserve champions in bareback.
Jesse Vesperman finished third in steer wrestling and Cale Hilzendeger received sixth place.
In calf roping, Caden Skinner finished in fifth place and Dawson Davis in 10th place.
Receiving 10th place was the team roping duo of Cole Walters and Shaylan Wilson.
For the women's team, Cami Schoultz finished third in barrel racing, Jenna Hume finished fifth in breakaway and Alex Jacobs took seventh place in goat tying.
The Tritons travel to Dickinson, North Dakota for the Blue Hawk Stampede September 29-30.
