The Iowa Central softball team swept four games with Northern Oklahoma College-Enid and Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa over the weekend.
Scores were 12-2 and 14-10 vs. Enid, and 5-2 and 13-5 vs. Tonkawa.
The offense remained hot despite cold temperatures led by Payton Andersen. Andersen went 10-for-14 with four homers and drove in eight runs.
Bre Tjebben, a former Fort Dodge Senior High all-stater, had five hits, six RBI and two homers in two games at the plate. She finished the four-game trip with three homers and six hits in all.
Parker Mathews had a key grand slam, breaking a 10-10 tie with Enid.
Abby DeJoode earned her fourth victory of the season in relief and Kayla Wookey picked up her second win on the year.
Iowa Central (6-3 overall) has hit 21 homers and scored 66 runs through nine games.
Next action is this weekend in Kansas vs. Hutchinson on Saturday and Hesston on Sunday.
