The Iowa Central softball team dropped a ranked ICCAC doubleheader with Des Moines Area here Saturday at Rogers Park.

Scores were 23-9 and 10-4.

Mady Lange had a double and drove in two runs in the opener with Loghen Schnetzer, Abby Wilson, Abbie Thilges, Allyson Stewart and Rachel Newell all recording two hits each. Stewart scored three runs with Thilges coming across twice. 

Wilson and Newell added an RBI each.

MacKenzie Rosenboom hit two homers in the nightcap, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Wilson had two hits and Newell drove in another run for the 15th-ranked Tritons (20-14 overall, 14-6 in ICCAC).

Iowa Central and No. 6 DMACC (21-10, 11-3) are set for another doubleheader here on Sunday beginning at noon.
