Iowa Central's Riley Gilroy was 3-0 in the circle last week for the Tritons, picking up three conference wins, including two over Iowa Lakes. Gilroy allowed just two runs in 14 innings of work. She struck out 16 batters and gave up more walks than hits – nine to six. Twice she came in for relief --- against Iowa Lakes and Southwestern. In those games she didn't allow a run while striking out five in four innings. She threw a complete game shutout against Northeast – five innings, two hits, six strikeouts. This season Gilroy has 111 strikeouts, fourth-most of any ICCAC Division II player. Her four saves are a league-best.
