Jayda Long had a busy weekend for Iowa Central Softball as the designated player. Long went 4 for 9 (.444) from the plate for the week and had an on-base percentage of .583 after three walks. She belted one home run and drove in four runs. Long wasn't done for the Tritons as she was in the circle on three occasions. She finished with a record of 2-1 on the weekend with the nine innings pitched. Long tallied 11 strikeouts for a 1.56 ERA. She gave up seven hits over the three games. Judging by the start of the season, you can expect Long to create runs in the batter's box and limit runs in the circle for the Tritons in 2024.
