Jayda Long had herself a week in the circle for Iowa Central posting 2-0 record for the week.

Long threw for 11 innings this past week where she only allowed one earned run and three total hits. Long sat down nine via strikeout and only walked two.

Long faced just 40 total batters in the 11 innings for the Tritons, seven more than the minimum.

Already, Long has earned her second ICCAC Division II Pitcher of the Week honor.

She also has proven she can hit. In 12 games she has a .472 average (17/36) with three home runs and 13 RBI -- plus five other extra base hits (4 2B, 1 3B).
