CEDAR RAPIDS - The Iowa Central women suffered a 64-63 setback here Friday to Illinois Central as part of the Kirkwood Classic.

Mardaeja Cross led four players in double figures with 14 points, adding nine rebounds, four steals, three blocks and three assists.

Isabell West scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Justice Crooks had 12 points, five assists and four rebounds, and Aaliyah Hull had 10 points and five boards.

The Tritons return to action here Saturday at 1 p.m. vs. McHenry. They host County Upper Academy Monday night at 7 p.m.
